World Menopause Day 2025!

We explored how nutrition and lifestyle can support women through menopause by helping to manage symptoms such as hot flushes, sleep disturbances, mood changes, energy levels, vaginal health after 45yrs, weight management, bone health, heart health, and overall wellbeing. It was wonderful to see so much engagement, with plenty of thoughtful questions and inspiring conversations.

Food & Mood Q&A session

EVENT ENDED
We will get to grips with, and explain the term 'gut- brain axis' and explore why the connection between the two is so important to mental health and wellbeing. We will look at Integrative Nutrition and learn about nutrients, foods and dietary protocols that impact mood regulation, sleep and emotions. You will start to ​understand the central role that blood glucose regulation plays in managing mood​ and the importance of a healthy 'well balanced' microbiome to your overall mental health.

Boost your Kids Health

EVENT ENDED
This exciting and interactive workshop saw the children (6-11yrs)  learning the secrets to staying healthy and strong through food- even at this young age! Designed especially for children, this fun-filled sessionvexplored the world of nutritious foods, healthy eating habits, and the importance of a balanced diet- where children were introduced to a broad variety of ingredients and able to taste a variety of food items.
 
Children enjoyed:
- **Engaging Activities:** Hands-on experiences with food, including making their own healthy snacks.
- **Interactive Lessons:** Games and activities that taught them about different food groups and the benefits of eating a variety of foods.
- **Healthy Habits:** Tips to help them make good food choices. Understanding of portion sizes. portion sizes.
- **Creative Cooking:** Simple, child-friendly recipes to take home to get involved in cooking and food.

Nutrition for Peak Performance-NSB school

EVENT ENDED
Joined by some of the Yr 10 elite boys (within football, rugby, track, XC, waterpolo, cricket) Jenny delivered an interactive worshop focused on proper sports fueling and hydration pre, during and post match/training days. This workshop was an empowering nutrition talk designed to help athletes reach their full potential. We covered essential topics such as balanced diets, hydration types, and nutrient timing alongside recovery and lifestly stratgeies to beat burnout. This talk provided practical tips to integrate into real life training regimes. Boys made their own nergy ball snack and and and ,ade a variety of energy and recovery drinks within the school kitchens.
